How to exit the game?
Can't believe I'm having to ask, but I have a Rift & none of the buttons do anything to let you exit the game, or bring up a menu. I also tried pressing Esc but no cigar. Have to Alt-F4? That's the only way??

I have the same issue. Particularly with WMR, VR games need to add an option to exit, because pressing the Windows button dumps you into the Microsoft VR Home, instead of returning you to Steam VR Home.

Is it normal for VR games to NOT have an exit/quit option? I'm quite new to it and I've bought a bunch of games, but have yet to find time to try them. The ones that I did try, come to think of it, I ended up pressing the 'home' button on the Touch controller.

Heck, in one game I could see the exit option hanging on the wall, but needed to somehow "move" myself in the 3D world and "press" the button. But none of the buttons on the Touch did anything. I could look around, but not move anywhere. I was only looking for how to exit in the first place, because I couldn't figure out how move to press the "Start game" button...

The home button on my touch controlers will take me out to the Oculus home space but there doesn't seem to be a way exit back to the Steam home space.

On the Vive, the only way I have found so far to exit the "computer room" is to press the system menu button (the concave button on the controller) and choose "Go home".

Of course, to get back from any of the simulation rooms to the computer room is to shoot yourself in the head.

When i go to the steam VR page while the game is running and press exit there, it does nothing either. Have to force close it every time. Playing on Oculus Rift. And if i close it via the Oculus home thingie that shows the running app, it doesn't really close it, can't open it up before having closed down steam and oculus and opened it again. Don't have the same problem in any other game

It's the same for all of us. This game has no menu button, no interactive guide, nothing.

It's kind of a cheap shovel-ware game that was kinda cool before all the good games came out with bullet-time and did it far better.

You have to kill the game like the rest of us do.

Don't you think this is kinda the point, to be stuck in an endless simulation? The plot of the game is that reality and virtual reality sort och blend together and you don't now if you are in a simulation or in reality. So it makes sense if the developers removed the usual "exit the game" options.

Sounds like a lame excuse for bad programming. "Why does this movie have a crappy plot hole? Nobody told the cop the suspect had a cousin and she wasn't even listed. So how did he even know to look for her in the first place?" "Uh... it is an artistic movie. I did it on purpose to show you that even when..uh... you don't know where to look for in life, sometimes ..uh.. you find the right people anyway randomly. That uh..is the point of the film. Yeah. Did it on purpose. Not due to bad writing."

Game is half @rzed. Could have been good if dev's had gave a tozz. Deserves to be refunded for it's complacency.

(FOR OCULUS RIFT CONTROLLERS NOT KEYBOARD)

On your left Rift controller press the button with three lines the burger menu button in the lower left corner on your left controller (do this inside of the game)

Once you click that button it should pop up with a screen doing multiple options and at the end it should say end game click that and it brings you to the SteamVR home.

duuuuuuuude *smoks huge drag of teh weedz0rs* thats crazy man, what the hell... my mind is blown over here

If you're using Virtual Desktop, at least on the Pico 4, holding the menu button for a while seems to take me back to the VD interface, from which you can close the game. It took me a while to figure this out so I hope anyone who also has VD benefits from this knowledge
