STEAM ACCOUNT ISSUES:

NA/EU Officially Serviced Regions
In order to play on the Black Desert Online NA/EU service you must reside within one of the officially serviced regions. To find out additional information on this, please read our «Serviced Regions Post»[www.naeu.playblackdesert.com]

I have an existing account but would like to play through steam.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to migrate your account between platforms (so Web to Steam or vice versa).

My friend has been playing since launch, can I play on the same server as him?
You can play with your friends regardless of their account type (Steam/ Web) - as long as you select the same server region (EU or NA).


Also, as a new player, don’t forget to take advantage of the Olvia servers. You can earn double XP for the first 30 days! Please keep an eye out for ongoing Season events, offering faster character progress and tempting rewards to those with Season Characters!

I wish to change the email associated with my Black Desert Online Account.
If you have created a trial account already, or wish to free up an email from an existing account. You will need to follow these steps:
  1. Go to www.naeu.playblackdesert.com
  2. Login your account.
  3. Click ‘My Page’ on the website.
  4. Click Account Details.
  5. Add Alternative Email.
  6. Set the secondary email the primary one.
  7. Delete the "secondary" email from the account details page.
Note: We do not manually change emails under any circumstance.


Are there any differences between the Steam and web versions of Black Desert Online?
No, both versions of the game are identical, but the management of your Pearl Abyss account on the website might be slightly different.
