Please read the information provided below for the Community Hub Rules and Guidelines, as well as ways you can help us stop rule-breakers. We want this Hub to be a safe place for everyone, so we take these rules very seriously and hope you will do the same.



Please refrain from the following:

1. Flame or insult other members
   
2. Bypass any filters
   
3. Abuse or encourage abuse of the Post Reporting System
   
4. Post personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, email, phone number, etc.)
   
5. Bump threads
   
6. Derail a thread's topic
   
7. Post links to phishing sites
   
8. Post spam (i.e. +1, 10char, rickrolls) or Re-post Closed, Modified, Deleted Content
   
9. Repetitively post in the incorrect forum (example: trade requests belong in trading forum)
   
10. Openly argue with a moderator
    
11. Artificially manipulate the User Review system or voting/rating systems

1. Porn, inappropriate or offensive content, warez or leaked content
   
2. Cracks
   
3. Key generators
   
4. Console emulators
   
5. Cheating, hacking, game exploits
   
6. Threats of violence or harassment, even as a joke
   
7. Posted copyright material such as magazine scans
   
8. Soliciting, begging, auctioning, raffling, selling, advertising, referrals
   
9. Racism, discrimination
   
10. Abusive language, including swearing
    
11. Drugs and alcohol (Does not apply to the discussion of in game items.)
    
12. Religious, political, and other “prone to huge arguments” threads

Let the moderators do the moderating. Backseat moderating is when people who are not moderators try to enforce the forum rules. If you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the Report button or simply ignore the offensive post(s), thread, or review.

Should you observe a fellow Community member breaking these rules please report the post by clicking the Report button located on every post. When providing a report, please cite the rule violations. Please describe the situation accurately, or provide links so that it can be investigated further.

You can also report offensive Community (Workshop, Hub, Guide, etc) content, which can be evaluated by moderators, developers and Valve employees.

Due to the fact that the Community is growing rapidly, no one person has the time to seek out troublemakers. When it's brought to a moderator's attention, it can be acted on quickly. Reporting is extremely helpful, and is very much appreciated by all moderators. Thank you!

Reports are very useful when done correctly. They should be done at your own discretion, but appropriately. These are some things that shouldn't be reported:


- Disagreeing with a point of view.
Someone who you think is cheating in-game, please report via their Steam Profile.

- A moderator's closing message to a topic
This becomes spam, and isn't necessary.

Repeated offenders of the above rules and guidelines will be banned from the Steam Community. Any moderator has the ability to ban a user for violating the rules at their discretion.
