Devs, please consider this change.
Hi,

I always wondered why we have headgear like for example the Snowman head, the dinosaur head, the shark head and the panda head. when they pretty much get replaced with any hemlet you equip, making them invisible.

So would it be possible to make them stay visible even if you equip a helmet? that way it doesnt feel like a waste.

yeah, it's near your character's feet in the inventory. try it out

however, i would like it to be visible to other players as well. it's only visible to you. i want people to see her pretty hair instead of the helmet :love_seagull:

The setting only affects your screen. The other players will be able to see what actual helmet you are using.

Yeah this is what i meant, others dont see it, wich is the whole point of cosmetic - items to show them off. id like if it were visibible for all.

true. they'd have to do something server side for others to see it if they're going to do this
It's interesting because the setting existing and how it works shows that PUBG does have some line drawn to keep its identity as a tactical/realistic shooter. Following the success of Fortnite, it did add unrealistic cosmetics. But for the sake of tactical gameplay they want players to be able to see what helmet other players have.
