Cause everyone plays regular and if they are going to que for ranked, it's in a squad.

I wouldn't mind solo ranked, as I only play solo, but I understand why they make it squad based. The whole point - as I understand it - is for teams to compete and potentially end up in the finals games (such as the ones that just finished).

That said, a version of solo play - ranked or not - that requires authentication, in order to hopefully avoid cheaters, would be something I could get behind.
