yes - I totally agree. I played this game when it was first released on win98. I am hard of hearing ( I am 80 years of age ) and have just downloaded the steam version to play it again. I cannot cos I cannot hear the dialogue. I need this patch on the steam version otherwise cannot play it and will ask for refund.
