Story Questions

Who the F are you playing as in the Imperial Guard campaign ?

The 85 Vandolan aka the Aurelia sector defence guard do join you on every map when you fight against the traitor guard. The sergeant is from the 85 Vandolan. He is in every game.

The guard that gets deployed to the sector from the Emperor to secure it, have dark green armor. Your forces have light brown armor. Who are we ? Where did these men come from ?

I know the Commander came in with the Inquisitor to assume control of the sector guardsmen. Did she bring her own guard regiments ? Are we part of the Imperial expedition and pacification force sent to Aurelian sector ? Do we just change uniforms for gameplay reasons, but story wise we are supposed to have the same colors as the traitor guard ?

Also in DOW 2 and Chaos rising you fight Ulthue craftworld.
But in this game it changes to Biel Tan. Why ?
is it because the ranger is looking for craftworld Ulthue ? So they cant be enemies in the game.
I know he gets captured by Biel Tan after leaving Ydriel (yellow guys).

I think we're playing as a mix of the Inquisitor's forces, Lord General Caator's forces and the remnants of whatever Imperial Guard and Planetary Defense Force that can be seconded.

So Castor brings his own regiments ? Because we recruit them from bunkers, we dont seem to have a ship in orbit. So I assume its implied we are just recruiting the local guard. But their uniforms are wrong.
