Question about the "Rogue-like" elements that are mentioned
I want to know if this game has a normal progression story or permadeath mechanics. I'm not interested in another permadeath game right now and I just want to know what to expect from the game regarding the extent of the Rogue-like elements.

It's not a permadeath game. The roguelike elements shifted towards more RPG during the dev process. We tried out roguelike style dungeons and they didn't work as well as handcrafted ones. So it's a story-driven game, not a roguelike.

Thanks! I might be picking this up on Switch when it comes out.

Hi,
Care to explain why it's still displayed as rogue-like in its steam page then? It's probably detrimental.

A bit of a necropost, but we discovered it in a games discovery stream (french, EncreMecanique) and after seeing what death would do, i wanted to know more as it makes no sense with the rogue-like tag.
