Stuttering with 9800x3d and RTX 3080
Using Nvidias performance monitor I can see im getting a constant 90fps(Ive set my max frame rate to 90) and a constant latency, but it feels extremely stuttery. Anyone had or have this problem? Anyone know of any fixes?

Why have you set max framerate to 90 FPS? D2 runs stutter-free at multiples of 60. So try to run it at 120 FPS

Try this:

Turn game menu Vsync off. In nvidia control panel force vsync on for the game.

Fullscreen mode in the game menu.

Run your monitor at 120hz. Run at a resolution that allows 120 FPS.

When i do that the game is smooth as butter at 120 FPS.

This same thing applies to Deathloop as well. It's a weird characteristic of their engine.

Awesome, thank you. Its smooth now. The reason I set my framerate to 90 for all my games is so i dont get used to the high framerate now and then suffer in the future when I cant achieve those high framerates in the future with latest releases:lunar2019shockedpig:. But anyway thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
