The game is drawn iirc. But the game has an amazing artstyle.

How the hell do you think the final boss is a basic enemy? Also, there is a buildup. Also, the game characters are mainly insects.

yeah, that would be Grimm. the bosses are generally scarier and creepier than the normal enemies. the tone of the game is not at all light-hearted or silly, if that's your concern.
