This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for online. Your CPUs have to match or else you desync, you need to edit your host files to redirect the Ubisoft servers to your localhost and then use an app on github to re-enable the ability to LAN and use a LAN tunneling program to connect to your friend over the internet. Whoever at Ubisoft made the decision to make LAN play online only with authentication servers is pure evil.
