The game no longer starts when i try to press play. I followed online tutorials and downloaded files it asked me to download and it didn't make it a difference. what do i do

My friends aren't really into Arcade Shooters, but I would love to have a score to beat. Let me know if someone is up for the challenge (only 2 hours of gametime so far, but I'm usually pretty good with these games).
