Find under your Steam/userdata folder a folder named 290790. Delete the contents. Then turn off could sync for the game. Restart steam (probably optional), and launch into a fresh game.

Exit the game, and turn back on steam cloud sync for the game, after the next launch it will ask you if you want to sync local machine from the cloud or sync the cloud from your local files.

Update with the local files, and you have a fresh game, even synced with the steam save cloud.

We have a few people playing online actively. Check out my other thread with a discord link. This is where all the active players are. We play on default and a slightly modded version as well. A big tournament is coming up this winter.

What does your modded version change with the base game?

The actual changes are quite small as they just increase resources early on. However the impact of this on the game is actually huge. For example Goo vs Goo is actually a great matchup now and tech builds in general are more viable.

Thanks!!! You can also just delete the file contents and leave the cloud since turned off and restart if you like. Totally worked for me!
