In the original, the puzzles were all directly related to the videos, and didn't need pausing except for strategic moments or secrets. You could also rewatch the video several times and get the same effect, and eventually solve any puzzle. In this one, there were far more "Pause / Unpause" moments, and that totally ruins the atmosphere, and personally that breaks the game for me. Instead of absorbing the environment and the content, you are just waiting for the screen to scream "PAUSE HERE FOR ANSWERS" and then continuing on to the next time you can pause.

Story never mattered in this game for me, but they really tried cranking it up to 11 for some reason. It doesn't work and comes off as baiting for youtuber theory crafting instead of a real story with characters. The interesting live action sequences return, but it's a lot more overt in it's story telling this time.

Not as good as the first one overall. Unless you are interested in more Amanda the Adventurer lore, I would skip this one.

really hard but fun i beat is in 2 hours but it says six hours because i forgot to turn my pc off before going to bed lol

A good sequel to the first game! The puzzles were difficult, but mostly in a fun, challenging way. Only some were sorta esoteric, but not terrible. The story continues in a creepy way, and I can't wait to see where it goes! A bit on the shorter side, 3-4 hours, but not bad for the price.

Continue the story, we need Amanda the Adventurer 3 now!!! AMAZING GAME! 10/10 (Better then the first one! in my opinion)

I liked the puzzles, the environment, more thing about Sam, and Amanda! The ending was like WHOAH. (NO SPOILERS!) - BUT WE NEED A 3RD GAME NOW!!!

the puzzles are WAY too hard with absolutly 0 context with the tapes, super random and not very fun :(
