Battle pass noob question

So, when you buy the pin in the battle pass, do you earn an extra 180% for every point, or do you get 180% of your current score when you buy it?? Is it for a big boost to your points or does it allow you to get points faster?

It's both actually, all your previously accumulated points get multiplied by 1.8 and you gain points at a 1.8 times rate.

ACTUALLY it wasnt and hasnt been 1.8 for years.( back when you played for the set hadal at the end ) its a .8 boost. 80% as it says when your in your cart in the market.

Did they make it a negative modifier? Cuz a 0.8 multiplier means you lose 20%

well its only 80% compaired to a full 100% modifier so yes you loose 20% of the base 100% rate.
