Not everything is made for you.
Why ... VR too immersive for you?
The game could be made for EVERYONE, if you just got over the hand waving gimmicks or take the damn time to develop Flat Input alongside Motion.
That if you make a VR game, and Gamepad isn't an option for an input device. You f'd up. And did something wrong.
I will never beleive that pressing buttons and face or eye tracked aiming can't co-exist motion inputs. Everyone is just under the impression that VR has to be VR Only. And you are all wrong. Quit ignoring flat gaming inputs as an option to play a game in this HMD. Because your hand waving gimmicks. are overhyped, and NOT that immersive.
This game was purposely not made for him on behalf of a lame VRAF echo chamber surrounding VR gaming that never stops trying to gatekeep HMD support.
Does it makes you feel like you're better than other people because you're a VR gamer, who plays VR only games....
Not everything is made for you, is an elitist selfish mindset of a response. And nobody cares about THAT.
Physically Disabled people should get to enjoy VR, probably more than most.
But when VR is chasing absolute physicality on everything. What's the point?
I'm not physically disabled btw. Just a lazy gamer.
Also let us have some aaa titles in vr because it desperately need some.
You are on the side of reducing creative expression for the sole purpose of more sales. In the name of """accessibility""". ♥♥♥♥ what the actual devs want, do what "I", someone with no interest in the intrinsic qualities of what makes VR different from flatscreen, just some consumer, wants, because "I" believe that VR is some damsel in distress and I know the thing that will fix it.
You are gatekeeping real progress behind your false notion of accessibility and it's disgusting. VR will become more accessible as technology, comfort and affordability improves. Not by gimping the game to satisfy lazy people. Once the issues are ironed out then we can worry about experimenting with non-standard gameplay styles and input methods. Until then, let VR have its wholly unique qualities separate from traditional gaming until it naturally grows as an industry through ingenuity, competition and creativity, just as flatscreen gaming has been given the privilege to do so over the last 50 or so years.
And yes, I feel better about playing VR-only games, because VR-only games are inherently more engaging and interactive on a direct level than flatscreen games (or any other kind of interactivity digital medium). There is nothing wrong with chasing absolute physicality when absolutely physicality isn't possible anywhere else. But if that's something that matters to developers, it means nothing if it still is "just a gimmick" to you.
What's that sound? ... Oh yeah, the sound of someone banging their head against a wall. Surprised there's any wall left after 6+ years of doing this.
What difference does it make if you care? You are not the target audience because you don't have a VR headset.
The game was made for VR headset users.
