Lords of the Fallen SURVEY!
Hey!

As you may have noticed, we are currently developing the sequel to Lords of the Fallen. Due to this fact we need you! Members of our community unite and give us your feedback!

We have prepared the questionnaire for you and would like to ask you to complete it and put there what you have in mind about the game.

The survey is not too long nor too short so please provide as many information as possible and don't hesitate to go overboard with words. Your feedback from these early days will be instrumental in helping to formulate the best possible gaming experience.
What we mean is - take your time - do not rush through the questions blindly but rather point out what you did like, what you didn't like or what would you remove completely or add to the game.

I'd love to give some general feedback, I answered the first 18 questions, but rate every weapon and enemy? I'd have to replay the game several times to do that D:

We know that for those that played the game a while ago it might be a bit difficult to remember all the certain mechanics or bosses but there is a solution to it!

and with this Wiki you'll see all the enemies and bosses and you will surely remember them :steamhappy:

I also got about 18 questions in before the tedium set in and I just quit. Sorta' like the game itself.

Worst part of the game I found was just how unresponsive it was, For a hack slash roll game the roll part was shocking. You click it and your guy might.... start.... to roll............. at some point. I'd like to call it input delay but I fear this was just a design choice, Sluggish response.

I'd say so too. You might swing your sword, but in the huge wind up animation, the enemy might backstep, and even though you clearly hit the enemy? No damage. I think the controls need some fine tuning.

I'm quite new to it just started playing what I will say is it could be a bit quicker to roll and slash and auto saves are In Wrong place and I think the early boss should hit for less so you get chance to practice rolls he should still be hard to kill but not kill you quite so easily and have a map or an overlay HUD

As long as it has the multitude of graphics and game options as The Surge then I'm all on board. I just don't want that god forsaken camera bob.

After playing both this and the Surge, it's fairly clear you don't understand the basics of making reactionary (and for the sake of clarity, let's say "souls-like) combat. Hire somebody that knows how to balance this out, and then perhaps your games will be tolerable.

This. Why should the community help you make a sequel, when the original still has Denuvo on Steam , while on GOG it's DRM free?

I think we should unite and as customers ask to be respected and remove the DRM from the Steam version.

I can't do the survey but wanted to say I just bought LOTF in the latest Steam sale and I really like it. I'm a long time Souls player and always assumed I wouldn't like this because the combat looked slow and clunky but I've been pleasantly surprised by how much fun and addictive it is. I've done about four playthroughs now and still finding new tricks and content. Can't wait for the sequel. Thanks!
