This game is dead. I get more games where people's main goal is to make your game as awful as possible. I don't think it will get better after the alpha because it's a community issue. Smite's community is toxic beyond belief. I regret paying 100 bucks for a game I have little to no interest in playing ever again. If you play this game you will most likely spend more time angry at your teammate for not doing their job than having fun.

Just like Smite, I hate this game too. You need a supercomputer with 4 gpus to even be able to run it with decent graphics. It's a complete downgrade from Smite 1, and hirez then decided to fire 20 people who probably worked overtime on Smite 2. This game is cursed, the interface sucks and all the gods are basically identical to regular Smite up to the voice acting and skins. Except you dont get to keep any of your skins from Smite 1, hirez just gives you pity gems. All the skins you have been collecting since beta? Gone :)
I guess the only good thing out of Smite 2 is that it's so bad that I will never want to play this cursed game ever again, hopefully curing me of my addiction.

Ehh. The main selling point sounds like it's supposed to be improved graphics. If they are better, I can't tell. They look fine, but not good. Gameplay is identical to the first game. Really not sure what the point of this 'sequel' is. This reminds me of Overwatch 2 more than anything.

Been playing since launch of the original smite. This game is VERY different, even though they tried to keep the gods similar. Apart from everyone building anything, currently there is no counter to the stunlock meta that exists in the game right now. I know it's still in alpha, but it seems like they either completely overlooked this or are trying to push that kind of meta. CC chaining isn't anything new in smite, but in smite 2 they've taken it a step further to where there is no way to counter/punish being CC'd or reduce the CC time like in smite 1. Good luck if the enemy team has a nu wa and athena or danza. I do not recommend the game in it's current state, I would wait for them to rework items or add more to achieve a better dynamic of the current meta. PS beads are useless, at least lower the cooldown to combat this circus.

This game has a whole lot of potential. The graphics need to be touched up on for the character models but the lighting is gorgeous. the Audio sounds really well too compared to how are the chains and fires of Ares sounded. it's extremely limited with the modes and gods you can play but it comes with quite a few changes. they copied some things from LoL but it still feels the same just a little clunky since it's in Alpha currently. Really makes me wonder how the Beta or full release will be when that comes out. I hope to see all the Gods with a Majority of my skins (knowing they can't remake all of them from the ground up sadly) and hope to see this game do well.

The fixes they really need are mainly, add text chat in game for PC (and console if possible) this helps communicate with the team when it comes down to really specific things. I'd like to see the shop UI get a overhaul it looks really chunky and horrible to navigate, it's extremely hard to find the items I need for the match. The menu isn't the best. there are some bugs too, a real bad one I ran into happened when I loaded up a match right after completing one and my character selection screen was frozen (kind of) the teams were missing and all the roles showed "solo" I had no way of seeing what my role is for sure besides that glitch possibly lying to me. other than that it's pretty great for the most part

Exact same game, better graphics. Bout it. Don't pay twice. Just play Smite 1 or find a better game. I say this respectfully.

Waste of time and money, they boast about legacy gems essentially giving you a 50% discount on skins however the prices on these skins are crazy expensive in the first place... they cost normal amount of gems PLUS the legacy gems. Just a major money grab.

Game play is boring, no way to communicate except with their in game VGS commands, can't save equipment builds and the graphics for UE 5 is absolutely ugly.

Save your money, your time and choose a different MOBA. Hi Rez is on the down turn and continues to make failure of games.

the game is hella smooth and is only at alpha stage. the god-pool is growing by the weeks and being updated for the better each day. its a good upgrade from an old classic :)
