Well vsync was off for some reason the first time I started the game. I had to look at the options after starting a new game which said it was already on but didn't start working until I actually looked at the options. Maybe your GPU is rendering too many unnecessary frames

Vsync helped a bit. Now it takes 10 min to get to dangerous temperatures, i can almost play a dungeon!
Actually i was checking the system requirements. Turns out the windows 7 i`m using is not compatible and may very well be the problem.
Between this game, Megaman and the whole steam not going to work anymore i really gotta "upgrade" to win 10.

I couldn't test the game with Windows 7. And I don't know if that is actually the problem. Does this also happen when you just stand still and do nothing?

Hey, thanks for taking time for this, dev!
I did 2 tests.
My idle temp outside of the game was 51~52c.
I stood still for 10 min in the starting area, got to 72c.
In another 10 min, from outside the game, i opened it up and went to the forest dungeon. It got to 83c. As soon as i exited to main menu, it dropped to 73.

I also have problems with my laptop getting way too warm and I don't know how to fix it, hopefully there is a solution

I will try to check it. I am not sure about the GPU temperature issue, maybe it has something to do how I setup the culling
