Can't launch it, I keep getting a "missing executable" error...

Does not launch from steam but you can run it by open the folder it is installed in and clicking PK icon, loaded ok but is in a window and not fullscreen untill i press cmd/f on my mac keyboard, really could not test the game as its far to slow/laggy on an Mac Mini late 2012 I5 with 10gb ram, which is strange as its an ut engine game (all 3 bioshocks run fine), first level did load and looked pretty, best i can do to help.

Hi there,

soft & hardware used:

MacOS X 10.7.5 (iMac 27 inch, mid 2011, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 20 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB)

Started a tutorial game, runs well. Can only run the game in a window, not in full screen.
Needed to start the game from PKHDGame.app itself, steam said could not find the exe....when I pushed the play button.
However steam does keep track of how long I have played so this is probably a glitch can will be sorted out in the near future.
I will keep you posted if I encounter problems.

I'm getting a missing executable error as well.

Hi, That was my fault in the configuration I published before the update went live. I fixed it and it now also goes correctly to fullscreen.

If you experience performance problems let us exactly know what systems you are playing and what kind of things you experience.

I got a MBP Late 2013 16GB RAM 2GB VRAM. I also got the missing executable issue and I can confirm that the game starts in windowed mode until I press the fullscreen button on the window. The game runs smooth with very high details and "retina resolution". No glitches so far in tutorial and first chapter.

Quit Steam and restart it and then try to start it. It should start now correctly also in fullscreen mode.

don't worry mr/miss developer, i too know the pain of forgetting to include a file when i export a project and then having to find it and then export it again

It was actually not even that. Steam has two parts - one part the actual build files and the part that is configured via a webpage. I can only update certain changes to the public the very last minute as I cant prepare versions and just set them live and here I did one config wrong.
So I drove to the office, grabbed the Mac Book Pro, tested it what was the cause, discovered it, fixed it, drove home. Now I will go for some sleep as its soon 1am in Austria ;)

ok :D good night sir :)

It looks like the first time the game is launched, the app requests to be moved to the Applications folder. Somehow I don't think that would work so well with Steam games.

edit: also, 2011 Mac mini with dedicated GPU Radeon 6630M 256 MB, Sandy Bridge i7 2.3 GHz can only play the opening menu at the lowest graphics settings.

Edit 2: it seems that, when full-screen, it uses the display's native resolution instead of scaling up from the selected resolution to the display's native one.

Well, I managed to run the game, clicked YES on the window to move the game to apps, and now it's launching... only I get stuck at the pentagram after the intro credits (Unreal, Alienware, all that) and not progressing at all after that.
I'm using a Macbook Pro 5,5, Mid 2009, with added 8 GB of RAM.
