Here's an idea: Use the Korean language for voice.
It's much much better (comes already installed anyways, so can switch right away).

i also found the English voices to be very Ai like, but the story/plot turned me off more, so it didnt take me long to just mute the entire game, since then, never had any problems with voice acting, combat voice lines, or other annoyances

Nope, i'm actually talking about the descendant's voice acting. If they're not AI - but actual human , they have done some pretty poor job tbh

voice is fine :o on my standard.

i like the voice acting, it has character and not cringe inducing with over the top performance, its laid back and feels natural

when it comes to voice acting, the directors play a very important role in directing the actors in their roles, i bet the actors are pretty good in this game, but the directors didnt give enough guidance and direction to make full use of their skills and talent, that why there are several characters and deliveries that feel flat and with no emotion (at least in english)

Overall I find the voice acting fine. Not good, not bad. Just fine.

The only time I had a problem with it was when the dialogue itself also wasn't exactly too great (during Freyna's questlline). The first interaction between Sharen and Freyna was just... yeah... Anakin talking about sand or being in agony is Shakespearean compared to it.

I couldn't help but thinking all the descendants in this game except for bunny is voiced by AI - and not even the fancy kind of AI. The Voice acting is just not there, nearly every descendants sounded dead tbh

Whats youre native language?

Im not an native english speaker and for me the voice acting is fine too. I even expirienced much worse than in this game.

If you don't like English voices, I'd also like to recommend switching to Korean. Personally I don't have anything against English ones apart from one exception that sounded almost like a different character compared to Korean (Sharen). I just like to play games in their original language in general.

The acting is bearable but the dialogue itself … LOL Your IQ may drop 10 points while listening to them.
But TFD is not unique in that department, most of the co-op looter shooters are like that.
