was your Xbox One controller working and then stopped or is this your first time playing this game and it isn't working?
does the controller work with other steam games?
can you try playing with a different controller?
This post may possibly be helpful.

I was able to try with my Switch pro controller, and it works fine as long as Steam input is disabled.
Weird thing is, when I'm on the starting screen with "press any key", it reacts to the xbox controller, but then nothing. It will show the mouse. When trying to force it from the settings, it doesn't react at all, but doesn't show a "your controller is disconnected!" either.
So what I'm getting from that is that the game "sees" the xbox controller, but somehow doesn't recognize the inputs themselves? I'll continue playing with the Switch controller in the meantime, but would appreciate a solution anyway, if only for people who can't switch controllers and run into this issue as well.
Could you please send us your .log files at hello@rundisc.io please?

Tried disabling Steam controller input to force it to use native but nothing changed.
