How to use NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation
As of version v1.1011.1.0, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered supports NVIDIA DLSS 3. This technology for GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs combines DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation and NVIDIA Reflex to boost your frame rate.

For users with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 GPU, DLSS Frame Generation is available as an option in the Display menu. When enabled, NVIDIA Reflex will also be activated. Currently V-SYNC is not supported when using Frame Generation. DLSS Frame Generation can be used in combination with DLSS Super Resolution, or other upscaling technologies available in the game.

Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling must be activated in Windows to use DLSS Frame Generation. In Windows 11, this option is turned on by default. To enable this feature in Windows 10, press the Windows key on your keyboard, type Graphics settings and press enter. This opens the Graphics settings menu. Here you can enable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. A restart is required to activate the feature.

Recommendations for AMD FSR frame generation

As of version v3.618.0.0, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered supports AMD FSR 3.1 including Frame Generation. When using this technology, please keep the following recommendations as outlined by AMD in mind[community.amd.com]:

When using AMD FSR frame generation, it is highly recommended to be always running at a minimum of ~60 FPS before frame generation is applied for an optimal high-quality gaming experience and to mitigate any latency introduced by the technology. Consequently, we suggest you adjust game graphic settings, resolution, and upscaling quality modes to achieve this, based on the capabilities of the graphics hardware being used and your overall system specs.

If you have an AMD FreeSync™ technology compatible display, ensure AMD FreeSync™ is enabled in the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™ Application display settings. On AMD Radeon™ RX 7000 Series graphics cards when using the Windows® 11 2022 Update or above, Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) should be enabled in Windows under Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics Settings.

AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag should be disabled in the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Application control panel to avoid any issues with frame pacing smoothness or stuttering. This can be done in the specific game profile in the driver settings.

It is not recommended to use AMD FSR 3 and FSR 3.1 frame generation in combination with AMD Fluid Motion Frames. Frame Pacing smoothness may also be impacted by using other driver-based technologies and the use of third-party graphics overlays.

Supported and Recommended Hardware for using AMD FSR 3 with Upscaling and Frame Generation:

Supported:
AMD Radeon™ RX 5000 Series and above

Recommended:
AMD Radeon™ RX 6000 Series and above

Supported:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 20 Series and above

Recommended:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 30 Series and above

While not officially supported, it may be possible to use AMD Frame Generation on other hardware. Please be aware that you may not have an optimal experience and/or may see little to no improvement in performace.
