After conducting performance tests in preparation for the test demo, the performance of the terrain generation did not meet the standards that were set for the demo to be released. This unfortunately means the test demo will be delayed. I know you guys have been patiently waiting for a playable version of the game, and your patience is really appreciated (like really appreciated!) I'll continue to work on delivering the demo to you guys so that we can playtest as a community. I'll keep you guys updated!"
Actually also one small update on October 11th, "Just got finished working on a new heightmap system for regions today :)"
