Game “crashing” on steam deck

Spoilers here, but when I get to the part at the “end” where everyone is loading onto the train and Bear says to you (cat) that you’re staying behind with him, they finish their conversation and then the game just shuts off. Then when I reload it and click resume, it just brings me back to the “fight” scene, then rinse and repeat.
Will this be fixed? Is there anything else to this? I’ve seen on some videos about other content I haven’t seen. Unless there’s a second half being released later? Help! I’ve just come onto this game so I don’t know much about it, but absolutely love it and want to be able to experience it to the max!

It must be a bug. After that scene you must be able to see the train running in the sky in the backdrop, have you seen it? Is there any possibility of seeing the video of the game? I'd like to see the exact time it shuts down.

Total stab in the dark, but I think it might be when it tries to award the "Nightmare Vanquished" achievement?

Thanks. We have enough clues to fix the problem. But it might take a bit time... I have to sleep first. Hopefully we can fix it tomorrow

Nice...! I'd like to know if you can play the entire game without any problem. Can you please let me know once you have completed the epilogue? many thanks.
