Please note that the game may behave unexpectedly if your system doesn't meet the necessary requirements to run it.

• Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 @ 2.8 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 @ 3.1GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.2GHz
• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 or AMD HD 7950 with 3GB VRAM minimum (Support of Vulkan 1.1 required)
• Storage: 55 GB available space

Recommended Specifications:
• OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)
• Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 @ 3.3 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300 X @ 3.4 GHz
• Memory: 12 GB RAM
• Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 with 4GB VRAM minimum (Support of Vulkan 1.1 required)
• Storage: 55 GB available space

In addition to meeting the above requirements we recommend the following:

1. Updating your Windows and Graphics Drivers.
2. Making an exception for Detroit and Steam in your security software.
3. Verifying the integrity of the game files.
4. Closing all other programs running in the background.
5. Disabling Overclock Settings (CPU/RAM/GPU).
6. Forcing the game to run on your Dedicated GPU.
*This is especially important for Laptop users that are unable to launch the game.
7. Running Steam and Detroit as Administrator.

Should the situation persist, please ensure you aren't using any Screen Recording Software (Ex: OBS/Bandicam), Post-processing Software (Ex: Re-Shade), or Performance Monitoring Software (Ex: MSI Afterburner), and that you don't have any devices connected to your system that could interfere with the game's functionality (Ex: Controllers, Racing Wheels, Joysticks, VR Headsets, etc..).

Programs and Devices like the ones mentioned above can interfere with the game and cause unexpected issues to occur. We recommend deactivating or even uninstalling any software you have that could interfere with the game and disconnecting any unnecessary devices from your system.

Additionally, if you keep experiencing abnormal behavior after checking all of the above, please try lowering the Graphical Settings to confirm if you also experience the same behavior with Low settings.

- Here's how to generate a DxDiag file:

Step 1: Click the Windows button in the lower-left corner of your desktop, or press the [Windows] key on your keyboard.
Step 2: Type in “DxDiag” in the search/run and wait for results to appear.
Step 3: Launch the DxDiag.exe application.
Step 4: The DxDiag will start running automatically. Wait for it to finish.
Step 5: Press “Save All Information”.
Step 6: Choose the directory in which you want to save the file.
Step 7: Name your file and save it as a Text File (.txt).
Step 8: Click “Save”.
Step 9: Finally attach the file you just saved to the email.
