The game does not work with Windows 7, right?

So far i like this game alot. Reminds me of XCOM series. I just reached Chapter 1 episode 6 the Brukmak boss and feel highly under level'd or geared or something... since the level is U shaped i find my soldiers cant get behind him for the tanks without getting stomped, or have enough ammo when they do get behind him because the adds soak that up. Since the beginning i level'd up my guys as we went but i found the skill trees very underwhelming but so far wasen't to difficult untill i ran into this boss. ...

There are so many things going wrong I can't list them all, but a few off the top of my head are that when I shot my theron bow as a scout it blew me up (of course it was a one shot kill at full health), now when i restart from the past checkpoint the bows are doing less damage and I cannot kill the theron guards guarding the exit. I also just had a glitch were my vanguard character was hit with a theron bow, had health left, registered as dead, i clicked restart from last checkpoint and it let me pass the...

Early in the game got offered a side mission which only one guy can go on. Reward of an Epic Armor. I don't have any of those yet. But this would mean 3 other characters earn no XP that mission. So is it worth it?

I'm playing on Veteran Mode on Jacked Mode, and I had an objective to "Deploy without Heavies". I did that, and when I get to the end of the level it says the optional objective was failed; idk how. I think this may be a known bug that happens with all "Deploy without <Class type>" optional objectives due to what I'm reading here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GearsTactics/comments/zi1i2u/failing_optional_objectives_for_no_reason/ Is it a bug that always happens?...
