This game was always unplayable on steam deck because it would randomly freeze after a few minutes, and there was nothing you could do except close the game. In addition, the opening FMV never played; the sound of the FMV would play, but the screen would stay black. But after today's SteamOS update, I decided to check if this game was finally fixed and the opening FMV is playing!!! Is this game finally fixed? Will it still freeze? I am going to play a bit on my deck and report back! Edit: False alarm....

Does this have a lighthearted "no one dies" kind of story?

It's been discussed multiple times, I know, but what I am curious about is whether or not it would be possible to gain the attention of Square-Enix or even Valve themselves to maybe fix something on the SteamOS side of things regarding this title. Of everything I've bought and played on the Deck, Legend of Mana is the single biggest anomaly as far as actually playing the game goes.
