this is the most recommendable game ive ever played
a good metroidvania with a striking and emotional premise held up by interesting characters, well-crafted atmosphere, and extremely satisfying combat
the idea of characters and the story itself having a time limit was easily enough to get me to play (and love) the game but the parrying and and creative weapons made the gameplay equally as sufficient
while one or two bosses were somewhat annoying almost all of them (and normal enemies) manage to be super satisfying to fight, it feels as tight as a rhythm game
the one downside i would mention was that i never enjoyed the sword or other weapons/play-styles as much as just parrying with the axe, and so it may feel slightly slow to some people

I have to give a review for this.

The hgamw has a wonderful build up of the world and mechanics and then let's lose on a simply phenomenal interconnected map with strong metroidvania elements.

It has unique elements in terms of crafting and upgrading your character, coupled with a genuinely enjoyable story.

The fact that this was made by a two person team is staggering. Such talented Devs where their passion shows in every pixel of this game. 10/10 from me.
